Cranston Buying Power accepts all commercial, industrial and governmental electric and natural gas into our program. Every account is verified for data, credit and utility information once the EnergyAuctions agreement is accepted.
Aggregations are built on several principles, including rate class, delivery zones, load factors and capacity assignment. These details will ensure that customers are grouped with similarly profiled accounts and no customer subsidizes another customers pricing. Aggregations are routinely built and analyzed for term, pricing and loads, so that any current grouping expires with other groups and larger aggregations can be built over time.
Our local aggregations have ranged from dozens of accounts to thousands of accounts. The net result are prices that are 10-30% below what an individual account could get on the same day. In addition, the size and diversity of these aggregations allows Taylor to negotiate reduced rates on ancillary items such as green power.
