Junior C#/.NET Developer

Position Summary:
The Junior C#/.NET Developer will be accountable for providing development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of our custom internal software applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plans, designs and develops new features and/or functionality for our software applications per specifications.
· Writes software applications that contain logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions.
· Identifies, troubleshoots and debugs defects in designated application code.
· Works with the Development Team to design, develop and document data integration methods.
· Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks.
· Works in close association with Senior Developer.
· Reports to Information Technology Director.

Education, Training and Experience:
· A.S. in Computer Science or related technical field.
· Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
· Knowledge of C#, Visual Studio 10, .Net Framework, and efficient SQL queries highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming).
· Hands-on knowledge of SQL
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management, and staff.

Job Description:

Our representatives will be soliciting businesses to discuss ways in which we can help them manage their utility costs, with emphasis on electricity and natural gas. Candidates must be goal oriented, professional, independent and highly motivated. Strong communication skills are essential, including verbal, written and telephonic communications and ability to give effective presentations. Basic computer skills required.

The ideal candidate will be results driven, aggressive and posses an uncompromising desire to succeed.
Specific responsibilities include working within a given territory to effectively promote and enroll businesses into our buying power program. Methods include but are not limited to cold calling, walking the streets, giving presentations, networking and attending trade shows.

Desired Skills & Experience:

You must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You must also have access to a vehicle in territories where required and have a mobile phone that can be used for work. All employees must pass a background check prior being presented with any offer of employment.

Our Representatives will be calling out to businesses regarding the recent changes in the energies market and discuss ways in which we can help them lower their monthly costs. The right individuals will be very goal oriented, professional and highly energetic. The position is part-time and perfect for individuals with other responsibilities looking to earn to earn some extra money.

OUTBOUND CALL CENTER PART TIME / FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING Shifts are 9am-1pm & 1pm-5pm Monday-Friday 20 hours per week

Sales Support Intern: Spring/Summer/Fall Internships Available - Avoca, Boston and Philadelphia offices

This is an experience working within the sales support department at Taylor CC. This department works on placing our customers into agreements with deregulated suppliers through reverse auction, aggregations and direct placements. This will provide students the opportunity to use analytical, organizational and communications skills in an employment setting.

The internship will be for the duration of the semester either for credit or experience only. This internship is unpaid.There is no guarantee of employment upon completion of any internship.

Duties may include: Phone requests to customers or utility companies for information, some data entry and assisting in task completion for senior management and administrative staff. Projects may include researching, requesting, entering and analyzing data and presenting findings to management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Desire to learn about the energy & utility industries
